There will be no quotation for the day.. But I have some tibits dedicated to my dearest friends and readers. Enjoy and hope you get some power to motivate you throughout the day. ^-^v

Tibit 1: "Swim A Little Deeper"

When you REALLY want something,
sometimes you have to swim a little deeper....

You can't give up
just because things don't come easy...

You have to overcome the obstacles
and face your fears...

But in the end, it's all worth while!
Life is full of ups and downs, but if you believe in yourself
you will always come through with flying colors.
Value friendship, love, and faith. Never underestimate yourself.
If you follow this advice you can never go wrong!

Tibit 2:

The most selfish one letter word.....
"I"
Avoid It.

The most satisfying two-letter word.....
"We"
Use it.

The most poisonous three-letter word.....
"Ego"
Kill It.

The most used four-letter word.....
"Love"
Value it.

The most pleasing five-letter word.....
"Smile"
Keep it.

The fastest spreading six-letter word.....
"Rumour"
Ignore it.

The hardest working seven-letter word.....
"Success"
Achieve it.

The most enviable eight-letter word.....
"Jealousy"
Distant it.

The most powerful nine-letter word.....
"Knowledge"
Acquire it.

The most essential ten-letter word.....
"Confidence"
Trust it.

Haven't been blogging for several days.. Really apologize for my inconsistency and laziness. Once again, I'm trying to adapt to new people in this brand new semester. New semester means time for keeping up with projects and assignments deadline and having to complete the ever-high-stacking tutorials.. Sigh~ Loathsome! I will miss the ever-slacking holidays again.. keke.

Something cool about this semester will definitely be the additional subject added into our timetable..i.e.Cross-Disciplinary Subject (CDS). I'm enrolled into Arts Appreciation. Its broken into two main parts of visual arts and drama. Almost 3 years without "touching" arts in any forms, thus this subject will surely hook a little of my interest.

Went back to Carrefour to work and collect our paycheck last friday. Had lessons before that from 9 am to 4 pm...Then rush rush rush along with Quanxin to Carrefour. On the way, it goes..rain rain rain... Meet up with Mengwei and Meihui..all going to work as well. We worked from 6 pm to 1 am for the Midnight Maddness Sale. Not forgetting to mention the kiasu and damn calculative people chalking up the queue... Can't imagine what is gonna happen when Chinese New Year is around the corner. But, definitely I did never want to work for them for that period.

Time really flies fast. Faster than I have ever estimated or calculated. 11 days more and we will be giving our warmest welcome to year 2005! And it will be time for most of us to set our ever-so-hard-to-fulfill-resolutions.. haha. For now, I only wish..and wish.. to have more time for myself to satisfy my ever-so-many-things-I-want-to-do-but-I-only-have-2-hands-and-1-brain-and-24-hours-mentality.

Yeahhh! Coming thursday, I'm going to make my first mask. Hope everything turns out smoothly and not ending up have to ruin Reshma's face.

Okay, that is all I have for the day. Cheerios.

Female

You are Gold Pegasus!

You are Gold Pegasus, who is extremely cheerful and seems like a very open person.

You can show consideration to others, and have a good sense of humor.

You are also a person who doesn't want to loose. However, you can be very temperamental, and can suddenly become optimistic, and next minute you are very pessimistic.

You look for fancy atmosphere in daily life, but you know that is only to cover up for your own dissatisfaction and discontent.

You possess unworldly bilateral character.

You have very unique personality, and people who like you and those who don't are clearly divided.

You tend to be audacious, but you must be careful when you use it.

Because Gold Pegasus people tend to be divided into those who exhibit great talent and those who can go stray from the right path.

Unlike your confident attitude, you are rather too nervous, sensitive and can easily change or give up your objectives.

Your natural instinct is fabulous, and you have a passionate personality. You tend to lead life with lots of emotional ups and downs.

You dislike being restricted, and prefer to enjoy freedom, and this will not change even after you get married. Therefore there is a chance of you getting divorced.

Quote of the Day

"Personality can open doors, but only character can keep them open." - Elmer G. Letterman

A day filled with some new experiences. Went to Singapore Armed Forces Basic Training Centre School at Pulau Tekong with Dad to attend my bro's POP (passing-out-parade). The journey from mainland to tekong is a little time-consuming yet the sea view is very much appreciated. I love watching the sea. The waves are beautiful. Its also where the sky and the sea merge into one. The scenery not just captivate my attention, it also drifted me temporary from the slightest thoughts of the cruelty of life. The programme lined up for the parade was rather standardized, yet it wasn't dry at all. Watched some fancy drill, awaited for the parade to form up and the guests to arrive... The boys at the parade square looked about the same despite the height difference as I looked from the view at my audience seat. At second thought, they also appear to me like some green peas standing upright with arms like twisties swinging about in the air as they marched by. wahaha.. that sounds like I'm hungry. Everything especially the drill and the commands invoked me into thinking about the past..assorted memories I had for Red Cross. The inspection was typical. I just watched through. It was followed by the awards presentation. The march-past was much appealing. The throwing of caps drew up the end of the event. I can sensed the boys' hearts were singing in joy from their delightful eyes for its time to go home! It was a long waiting for the allocated departure time to leave. The beautiful sun set which painted the sky a little crimson bided us goodbye with the sound of the rolling waves in the background... When we reached home, it was already dark and I'm dog-tired. But needless to say, it has been a fruitful day!

NS... It's where boys grow and learn to become a man.

Quote of the Day

"Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson, on ESP

Hey folks! Watched Polar Express yesterday with my sis. It's a good movie. Watch it if you have the time. I'll rate it 4.5/5 for the overalls and 5/5 from a kid's point of view. The graphics and effects are brilliant. From the start to the end, it's fun-filled with thrilling experiences and ended with a light-hearted ending. The story begins with this young boy who took a ride in this extraordinary train, The Polar Express, which unfolds a journey towards the North Pole together with many other kids. Preferably, the conductor in-charge of the train is my favourite character! I shan't talk more about the movie. Watch it for yourself!
I believe...
