Saturday, March 05, 2005 Quote of the Day When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power. - Hugh White ============================================ Yesterday's access online test was not very well done. Plenty of errors here and there. Quite disappointed with it. Now what? Should put in more effort in the papers I suppose. Anyway, after school went for movie with Candice. The movie we caught was "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" directed by Brad Siberling, featuring Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and Jude Law. It is a fantasy cum adventure movie. I give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5. Pretty good storyline. So who do I like most in the movie? It would definitely be the three Baudelaire orphans namely Violet (Emily Browning), Klaus (Liam Aiken), and baby Sunny (played by twins Kara and Shelby Hoffman). Baby Sunny is extremely cute and intelligent at her tender age. As for the storyline, I shan't reveal anything much.. Find it for yourself at the cinema theatre. Today, went to school to attend the NE talk. Nonetheless to say, the talk is pretty boring and long-winded. But it's quite beneficial if you have followed closely to what the speaker had to say. Finally, projects and assignments are coming to an end. Can't imagine the weeks just passed so quickly. What I'm left with right now is the final skit (The Prince and the Cindermama proudly brought to you by the Rojak) to be put up on the coming thursday (Arts Appreciation). I'm looking forward to it. One more week of school followed by one more week of study week and one last week of fighting at the battlefield with the enemy called examinations. With either a victory or a lost, we will be giving our warmest welcome to dear vacations. And soon, one semester will pass the baton to another semester. Time flies... really fliessssss... ~~ |
