Saturday, May 28, 2005 Quote of the Day "Courage is the price that Life exacts for granting peace." Amelia Earhart (1897 - 1937), Courage, 1927 =================================================== Yesterday was A & F Orientation Day. It was a typical one except you see transition of people participating in this event. This year, I have 2 from my secondary school joining my course. I do not see much differences upgrading from a freshman to a junior physically except the mental stress accumulated within. The question of surviving by managing the schedule well still remains a question mark in my mind. Although I still have not managed to get a chance to interact with some of my new classmates this semester, hopefully they will be nice people to work with. Last week, I got the chance to catch up with old pal, Candice, and went for movie with close pal, Quanxin. Unexpectedly, Quanxin called me the very evening asking me to come back to Carrefour to work for 3 days. With not much hesitation, I agreed without a second thought. The working pace there has not changed, still as hectic as before. Familiar people would occasionally ask me in doubt how come I was doing packing work instead of cashiering. It has been glad to have Eilin around for these 3 days. The supervisors were nice enough to give us to go for break together. Like the other times when I came back to work during the long school term break, new faces could be easily identified in presence. Although the wage rate there is pretty high and attractive for many, I am sure not many would like to stay in the same company servicing for ages. There are countless pros and cons for staying and leaving. I would not want to spell out everything too clearly... Before the overwhelming project dues start to torture us, I do really like to go for a movie or two. Madagascar is in the top of my list. I have not decided upon whom to watch with. I had something for readers to try this round. If you have three minutes to spare, click this link. http://www.typequick.com.au/ttest/testyourskills.html Have fun. Good day! |
