Friday, August 26, 2005 Quote of the Day Hope lies in dreams in one's imagination and in the courage of those who dare to make dreams into reality. - Jonas Salk ================================================== Well, it has been donkey years since I last blogged. Hope I wasn't being forgotten by anyone of my existence. What I can say is that, tons of things happened these weeks. I am glad that finally the writing test and project cum presentation for business mandarin has come to an end. Relief, relief and REFLIEF! And for accpac online test, I was rather surprise of the grade I've gotten as I was really preparing for the worst, thinking that my marks would be as low as a single digit hanging within the pass/fail border. Feeling lucky for the first time I would say cos I knew exactly where in the test I've gone wrong. As for the accpac project, it's a job well done. Our 101% effort put in has indeed not gone to waste. Just recall back, all the late nights we spent in the lab and all the other times spent doing this project, the feeling within is rather terrible. But all thanks to the fun and laughter, peace and joy from my fellow group members, ah ling, ah min and yan ting, we managed to pull through all the difficulties. Wonder whether the 'outing' tomorrow will be confirmed or not. Anyway, it is not any extraordinary outing. It's just a simple eat-out gathering to celebrate the end of all our projects. Hopefully, we will have a day out again after the exams. The end of today marks the start of study week. It's a week that I am most 'afraid' of. Every time, when I am preparing myself for the coming week exams, I will have this feeling as if I am a jailbird. Also, I can never resist the temptation of the television and computer. Talking about computer, I just simply dislike fellow gamers in runescape and maplestory who come to the game to create a din out of nowhere. They just spoil the mood of the other players who want to have peace and enjoy the game. My newest objective of runescape will be to have a level 70 crafting and maple to gain level up to 30. Perhaps have to wait till exams are over, then I can have all the time I want in front of the computer. Ouch! The open wounds on both my foot are torturing the hell out of me. Damn regretted putting those plasters this morning. Now, the wounds are oozing pus and I wonder when my foot will rot. Sigh... Hope the healing will be within a week. *Pray* Before I go, and perhaps not come back after ages, I would like to wish everyone who will be taking their exams soon best of luck! Good day! Saturday, August 06, 2005 Quote of the Day "By seeing the seed of failure in every success, we remain humble. By seeing the seed of success in every failure we remain hopeful." - Mel Ziegler, founder of Banana Republic =================================================== What a relief! Finally, the worst of the worse week is over. All the heavily-packed project dues and the little little tests for all our core subjects for this semester are completed. I'm now left with business mandarin's project cum presentation and the writing test for me to worry about. Today morning ACCPAC online test was indeed a disaster. But it will be useless to cry over spilled milk, just have got to prepare for the worst and perhaps work harder for end-semestral examination. Time is moving faster and it seems this semester is rather short; about 3 more weeks to study week and a month to examination. After the 2-month term break, we will land at different classes again. How sad. This month has a whole load of my classmates celebrating their birthdays. Out of 22 peeps in my class, 7 are august babies. For a start, today's peiling's birthday and next on national day is huimin's and there will be 5 more to go for the month. I will wish them all an advance happy birthday! Yipee, I'm looking forward for Monday to come. It will be a movie-catching at GV after school. Hurray! |
